Space assignments are determined using the information within Web Central (the space and tracking system managed by Plant Accounting). At the beginning of each quarter, a snapshot of Web Central is downloaded into the allocation system. This information is then used to charge monthly rent expense to University and Health System departments. Rent expense is assessed each month based on actual dollars charged to the building and is posted to a 9009xx GL account.
The following dates are deadlines for having space updated in Web Central. Please forward space change information to Plant Accounting with enough lead-time to allow them to process the changes to meet the dates listed below. For further information on updating space, please reference the Plant Accounting website.
